@Sea Salt Boutique CottagesWe are a family run business, our cottages are similar to a Bed & Breakfast, However with the privacy of your own place! We serve our signature Maine blueberry muffins, milk, tea and coffee. We are like a Boutique Hotel -our attention to detail, extra touches and service go way beyond the usual summer rental!The vibe is relaxed, private, quiet and much about coastal living.Our three cottages are in the "Prettiest village in Maine" They are all on an acre plot with-in the 'historic district', on a very quaint one way street. The setting is of rose covered fences and historic buildings of days gone by.Wiscasset Village boasts the quintessential 'New England village' setting! Relaxing, nostalgic, historically fascinating and many beautiful gardens. Not much has changed in the town's landscape for two hundred years. Many of the old sea Captain's homes attribute to the prosperous shipping industry of the late 1700-early 1900s.Today, the downtown has several restaurants, antique stores, art galleries, beautiful boutique shops and wine bar, as well as iconic “Red’s Eats” lobster shack all with in walking distance!There are historical museum tours in two of the homes,
a "museum in the streets walking tour" and a 'sunken garden' that has been curated since 1900.Our cottages are set on the outskirts of the village next to a small elementary school and other beautiful historical homes. There is a walking loop around the school which leads to a spectacular view of the tidal Sheepscot river and a playground which we have access to all summer for those of you traveling with children.Pet Policy: we love pets but I really cannot accept them. The Sea Salt
Grab a book and curl up on the swing overlooking Ammi’s heavenly gardens at this serene getaway along the Sheepscott River. Browse the owner’s fine art gallery next door, then walk downtown to “Red’s Eats” for an iconic lobster roll. Sea Salt is an en-suite cottage for two guests.

Sea Salt was originally the carriage house for the 1800’s colonial and was lovingly renovated to this romantic coastal suite. Much like a boutique BnB but with the privacy of your own cottage. Upon arriving at the cottage, you will be welcomed to a large patio overflowing with Ammi’s potted garden. Below the patio, this oasis continues with her fenced in garden of perennials and two 150 year old ash trees.Entering through the French doors, you will find the airy cathedral ceiling, pastel coastal colors and textures immediately send the senses into relaxation. Although we are not on the ocean, we are next to a tidal river which brings the ocean breeze and smell of sea salt to your door.An ensuite kitchenette allows for storing food and light cooking. Ammi’s signature Wild Maine Blueberry Muffins will delight you each morning along with a selection of local coffees and teas. A small honor bar of local wines and drafts are available for purchase.Many have raved over the Queen bed which is adorned in luxury bedding and a memory foam mattress which is soft, yet firm.The ensuite bathroom is one step up from the main room with a door for privacy. A lovely glass shower stall, marble sink, organic lavender soaps, and fluffy white towels are provided for your relaxing stay in Maine.A hidden reading room is found in the closet where a small staircase brings you to a light-filled sailboat reading bench complete with periodicals and plush pillows.You will find flowers from Ammi’s gardens and her thoughtful touches in all the rooms making it a one-of-a-kind experience.other things to note

Although the cottage is connected to the owner’s house, it is separated by a small art gallery of the owner’s paintings. This gallery, sometimes called “The Muffin Room”, is where guests may pickup their morning muffin basket at their convenience.

Acorn Cottage
Traveling with a small group, family, or wedding party?
Look no further!
Boutique style comfort in this beautiful village 1903 Victorian. Newly renovated Kitchen and bathrooms offer the comfort of modern living in the nostalgic atmosphere of old New England living.
Three private bedrooms with Queen memory foam mattress and luxe bedding make for a very comfortable stay. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite powder half bath.
The second bath is a full bath with tub and shower.
All of these rooms are on the second floor.First Floor has the newly renovated kitchen fully equipped with electric stove, full size fridge, pantry, and all the cookware one would need. Coffee, teas, milk and butter will get you started. Freshly baked Maine Blueberry muffins are brought over hot for your first morning awaking in this beautiful home.The living room, adjacent to the kitchen is outfitted with a full Pottery Barn couch, two chairs, internet TV and excellent WIFI. The small dinning room next to the living room hosts a beautiful hand carved wooden whale tail table in font of a beautiful beach pebble stone fire place. This room provides for overflow of the kitchen table or makes a nice office space. Washer and dryer are conveniently tucked into a closet in this room as well. Through the back door you have a private patio with table and chairs overlooking a large yard and flower gardens. Our neighbors tiny church art studio will captivate your attention and provides a beautiful backdrop of this preserved village life of days gone by.

-Private parking for two vehicles -excellent WIFI - AC units in all bedrooms -Central heating -Fresh flowers are provided in all the rooms -Across the street is the owners Art Gallery which is open daily from 10-5 everyday -Sea Cloud Cottage is next door and can be rented if you are a large family or wedding party. Extra space is also across the street at The Sea Salt Cottage.

Sea cloud Cottage
Lovely Sea Cloud Cottage, originally the guest house and summer kitchen to the large Acorn Cottage is a one bedroom and bathroom home. It is approximately 900 square feet on two floors and perfect for a couple or small family with an extra child/adult on the sofa pull out bed. Or rented along with Acorn Cottage to meet the needs of larger parties. (Maximum 8 in the two locations.)
The upstairs bedroom has a queen size memory foam mattress which is soft, yet firm and adorned with layers of luxurious cotton sheets and down comforter. A small chair, table, closet and dresser complete the cozy room. Adjacent to the bed room there is a full size bath with shower/tub. Downstairs, a full kitchen (fully stocked with every thing you need to cook) and a spacious dinning room/living room with table and chairs couch and very large smart TV. Washer and dryer are conveniently located in the kitchen.
Throughouout the cottage are lovely thoughtful touches; fresh flowers from Ammi's gardens, small library, many pamphlets to help with traveling, local wines and coffee...etc. The cottage itself has beautiful original molding and old growth pine board floors. It was built by a “Freemason” thus it has many interesting architectural elements around the building inside and out.
There is no need for breakfast as Ammi's signature Wild Maine Blueberry Muffins brought to your wraparound Victorian porch, will delight you each morning.other things to note

Across the street there is a small Art Gallery of the owners paintings which is open daily.
